What a bunch of douches. Except that Eradificator guy, he seems fairly awesome.

I've only ever driven two automatic cars, think I wrote about it in a previous Dear Blog... <searching> ah, it was in my actual blog. One was a Passat CC DSG, I said it was okay, I just didn't like the lack of control, but using the +/- option seemed to fix that. As far as BMW automatics go, I remember just from the stat pages a few years back (I assume this hasn't changed) they accelerate faster, use less fuel and create less CO2s than their manual equivalents. So they have to be good, right?!

I'm sorry to hear your knee has got worse although it's better it happens now than going ahead and getting a manual then wishing you'd bought an auto. Although an auto isn't as fun to drive at least if your leg is better it won't affect you too much. How is the beemer auto?

The Beemer auto is ok, although supposedly ecu learns and adapts the auto box to your driving style so the one I have drive will gave learnt its previous owners style but it's an easy reset. Also doing research it seems resetting the box regularly is a good idea. The only minor issue is that I like the 1series coupe and my missus likes the hatchback, but seen as she is buying it I'm not going to complain to much.

I'm still getting used to having no page numbers although there will be some imminently.

On the subject of cars I was impressed at the choice a friend at work has made, he's bought himself a 2008 Audi S8 which packs a 5.2 litre V10 which is incredibly quiet at idle and sounds incredible when it's revved. I admire the guy's ability to just go for a very fancy car and not worry about the consequences, absolutely incredible car.

Tough week, but seeing as I'm now still the richest I've ever been, figure I'll pooter up to sheffield to drink beer all day at the uni festival. Hoping to get a go in the 458 before hand, hence the 7.30 start on bank holiday saturday!!!
