This is absolutely incredible technically, artistically and the animation:

It's apparently rendered in realtime using a single Nvidia 780 Ti (Nvidia's top end consumer graphics card but it's nothing ridiculous) using a version of Cryengine designed for animation. Artistically it's all pretty much spot on from the grim and dark look to it all, the almost frankenstein like black carapace on the Space Marine (the system which connects the armour to the human) and the slow, heavy steps which give an impression of the large, heavy armour as it's the bigger Terminator armour rather than standard power armour.

I like how the guy looks about as surprised as I was watching it when he lands on the car, bloody lucky given the speed he was going that he didn't end up smeared up the road.

Watching this makes me want to go and ride a mountain bike. Never done anything like this but I miss going for a bike ride. When I get my new house I'll get a bike too!

the first one made me cry like a child, full cardigan over head moment in the cinema. *technically I was a child*

Didn't wet myself though, so got that going for me.

The books are great! The first especially. One of my top reads. Wonder if they'll do something similar to the T-Rex running down the river/canyon which they said was too difficult to realise in 1993.
