To 2012:

Eaten too much mash along with 2 battered cods and veg in gravy. Nom nom!

And I will use my cook books this year. Honest.

Er, didn't get round to that in 2012, 2013, nor 2014. So, this year's goal: In 2015 to use a cook book to cook something I've not cooked before.

Ras left the forum for 18 months tho remember!

So far this year i have only eaten at the hampshire hog for brunch, today.

For valentines we're off to Roux at the landau. And Clos Maggiore for her bday.

I haven't been there but fancy it, its lunch menu is pretty cheap. Probably to pull people in. Might be a bit too romantic for me and my mate though!

Yeah, its the most romantic restaurant in london! If its for a special occasion with the missus, ask to go in the back. it has a kind of indoor garden thing going on.

The french food is stunning!

I had genuine Kobe in Tokyo. You could cut the thing with a fork! Well worth the £70 each!

ha! my £6.72 slab was perfect all things considered. Had chip shop chips too, so that feels like a moral victory to me!

Five Guys burger. Pricey, but damn, it was a good burger. And to think, I wasn't fussed the first time I went.

Adding onto Tappy's comment in another thread...:

I had a burger with bacon and cheese the other day. And that was after a meal.

I could so go for a burger right now... at 9:42am... I do think I should stop eating meat... not to go all lefty, but I'm sure people will look back on what our generation ate and wonder why are we still killing animals to eat them like some crazy folk (and wonder why are we eating all that sugar). But damn, I love meat.
