Pesky YouTube being blocked in work. But anyway, assuming it's the same teaser trailer I watched this morning, the film looks immense!

Although Guardians of the Galaxy was superb and Captain America 2 wasn't bad I've been disappointed with Thor 2, Iron Man 3 and particularly Avengers 2 but impressed with that Captain America trailer, I was thinking it was Tony Stark that would be the one rebelling against authority so it's good to see it's actually the Cap. I liked the original trailers for the second Captain America film where it looked like SHIELD had gone a bit NSA heavy and the Captain was against that however the actual film had a much more disappointing twist, it looks like the new one is going to be more that way though or at least I hope.

I thought Cap 2 was amazing. Can't get enough of that film. So given it's the same directors, I'm hoping for more of the same. Then again, they broke Whedon after he did such a good job with Avengers, so it's only a matter of time before they break the Russo's!

I have mixed feelings about the Winter Soldier, I think it's a good film to watch - much better than any of the films in that phase bar Guardians of the Galaxy, in particular and I'm not sure why the action scenes look so much better right from the start when he attacks the ship. It looks more like the Cap is throwing the people back by sheer force rather than as is usually the case they just look like they're being pulled back on cables. The big plot twist though spoils it so much that it detracts from the film overall.

That new trailer is just amazing though and there's so much going on that I seem to be noticing something new each time I watch it such as Scarlett Witch taking off using her powers near the end.

I think, if dissected, I would probably have the same opinion of the parts of Cap 2 as you, but I find those actions scenes so exhilarating (especially the ship assault at the start) that when put together, I accept the plot.

I think that's a fair assessment and I'd certainly agree with it, I've certainly enjoyed it each time I watched it.

The new Batman vs Superman trailer is out:

I wasn't that keen on the idea from the start as it just seems odd rebooting Batman so soon after the Dark Knight trilogy and Superman vs Batman still seems an odd idea to me, the trailers obviously start to show why but I'm not convinced. The new trailer probably makes it appeal even less, I've had enough of Jesse Eisenberg playing almost exactly the same character as he appears to be exactly the same as The Social Network and Now You See Me and Wonder Woman at the end just looked stupid wearing little more than a swimsuit. I thought they did a reasonable job of modernising the Superman outfit but it appears they've not even bothered with Wonder Woman although no sign of her rope I guess.

Also I don't think it helps that the new Captain America trailer looks amazing and although it similarly has the odd idea of Captain America going against the authorities, it looks like they've built it up really well.
