I'm not sure who came up with it first but Vango seem to be the main one pushing it with their Airbeam system. So far it looks good as the tent is really very spacious, there's a decent amount of covered area outside the sleeping section and it's a good height as well. Packing it away is a pain but then it always is for tents.

No wedding myself obviously but a good friend's wedding in Manchester which seems to have gone from being ages away to next week as I realised today. Feeling a bit of panic but I don't really know why as there's not really much I need to do, accomodation is booked and I'm driving down so it's just a case of getting myself there with the kilt outfit ok.

Frick me. That's been an exciting past hour or so... Spill water on trackpad. Trackpad stops working. Then only makes mouse move up and down. See water under trackpad buttons. Trying blowing out water with short burst of airduster. Doesn't work. Then laptop just dies. Won't boot. Won't boot. Won't boot. Tries to boot. Whirr. Fail. Leave a couple of mins. Boots up. Same cursor problem - only vertically mid screen. Dig out old Wacom PenPartner 2 (I don't have a mouse). Plug in and kinda works but need to find proper driver. Download driver. Working but the pen grip must've deteriorated over the past years as it's a bit icky/dust covered. Give that a clean. Get more water on it than wanted to. Now pen doesn't work.

TLDR: More minutes past, pen works again and so does trackpad! Phew!

Oh and Tappy, ask Scar. I'm sure he's handed out a few salmon slaps in the past for lack of Dear Blog, even if you are quoting another dear blog! That is all from me tonight.

geesus, your laptop is like a family of Starks! The GOT kind, not the Ironman kind..

The weather is very nice in london today. We're sat outside on our ikea rattan sofa. Even the brother in law who thought it was a stupid idea!

Still stag do training. 3 ciders last night. need to hit 4 or 5 tonight..

Friggin' 'ell. Wish my HDMI out worked so I could connect my laptop up to my tv/monitor and use it as an extra screen. Would (possibly) make essay writing easier with more docs and papers up at the same time and me not losing my place as I alt-tab all over the place!

I'm totally skint! Just had to pay out for 6 ted baker suits for the wedding! Plus my contract with work finishes on Thursday.

Weekend was nice tho. drinking lots to build up for the stag do next week. had the first BBQ of the year. finally managed to get vodafone to replace my 2 week old faulty phone! Life is good! albeit moneyless!

I can't believe you think we're crazy for a serious technical discussion on the possibility of mixing cybernetically revived genetically augmented super humans with game of thrones. Just catching up on said game of thrones and a bit confused by the actor for the mountain being changed again.
