Dear tumbleweed,

I am guessing Toddy is still out on his bike as it has been unending sunshine since his last blog post.

I also see that Matt now has his hands full too!

Dear Blog,

RIP MSI GS60.. Noticed last night that the battery had expanded.. Not sure they make official batteries anymore either. and i Don't really trust the random ones you find on ali express! So now its the usual MSI GS65 Vs Razer Blade 15 Vs alienware 15 discussion again..

Dear Blog,

That's really frustrating you can't get a proper battery and seems an increasingly common problem now as even if original batteries are still available they may have been manufactured the same time as the original battery and won't last the long.

I guess on the plus side though the newer graphics cards are a big step above the 870M so a newer machine will give you fantastic gaming performance, I'm running a GTX 1070 and it just seems to run everything with ease at high detail and resolution.

Dear Blog,

I was about to post something about batteries then realised it was exactly the same as I'd posted above so I'll skip doing it again...

Absolutely atrocious weather here yesterday so a good day to unload new IT equipment (2.1 tons work with a couple of new loaded racks) but surprisingly good weather. An Argentine friend at work who's been over a few times to Inverness took his DJI Spark over this time as I said it was fine to fly here but since he's been here the weather has been pretty poor so it looked like he was going to go home next week without flying it. Today though the wind was down, the rain was gone and the sky was clear and blue so we popped up a hill beside Inverness along with Alfie and the Mavic.

I'd stopped flying the drone with Alfie as he was getting too excited over it and I was finding it increasingly difficult to land the Mavic as I'd need so much time to get the drone far enough away that Alfie would stop looking for it, let me hold onto him and then land the drone. However my Mum was showing me a video of Alfie out in the forest behaving strangely which I realised was because he was looking for the drone, it was a spot I frequently practiced with the drone. Needless to say with two drones on the go Alfie was extremely excited and his barking certainly drowned out the drone noise, got some great shots of Inverness and the surrounding area.
