Spoiler:
Also another dire wolf that gets a terrible finish, they look so impressive fully grown yet rarely seem to do anything of note....I was hoping Bran's one would at least rip some of them to shreds before getting taken out but he went down immediately.

Spoiler:
Still in shock over Hodor, sad times. Stupid Bran.

I always hate it when one of the wolves die, seems like such a waste. Although I assume Summer dying is symbolic with the White Walkers finally doing something and Winter almost arriving?

Arya at the play was interesting, as she has been out of the world for so long there is a chance that she doesn't really know much after Ned dying, and anything she would know would be half heard rumours. But also as you say Jaqen H'ghar testing to see if a girl really is nobody.

S6E05

Spoiler:
I seem to avoid spoilers despite not going out of my way to do so. IGN was the only time I saw something spoilery when they had a "Joffrey's best bits" article headline after he died. Which was a bit of a giveaway.

Yeah, what an episode. Know what you mean about the wolves, John. They seem to have a lot of big talk but only a scene or two of note before they go pop. I assume the books give them so much more. So it's just Ghost and Nytheria left (or something like that - Arya's doggy) but she's AFK atm.

I thought the Hodor bit was very clever. Being Warged and witnessing your own death will make you a bit broken, I guess. I wonder if that was an after thought or the plan all along.

I don't mind the Arya stuff, there's so much going on elsewhere, it's nice to have some slow story. Although I wholly expect her swift demise once she gets unleashed. All that training for nawt!

Many other good bits to the episode. Richard E Grant?! Brienne's summary of Jon, "he's a bit broody but that's understandable, I suppose", Wildling blokey checking out Brienne, Ser Friendzone getting a cheesy but touching goodbye.

Yeah. All downhill from here, I guess.

Spoiler:
Dan has said that they heard about the Hodor thing before se1 ep1. And they were like WTF! It was very well edited and i think it hit me in the heart as hard as the red wedding did. He was an innocent and only died because Bran is a tool!

Yes, theres only Ghost left with Jon Snow. And Nymeria is apparently roaming in a "super pack" according to GRRM. So we're hoping they arrive to rip out Ramseys throat. Its so depressing that we lost shaggydog and summer this season. I hate whenever a dire wolf dies. More than when a person does, and i have to hold Mui close when it happens.

They made a big thing of really selling the horrors that Sansa went through with Ramsey. And is she now learning the game of thrones by holding information back from Jon? Seemed odd that she wouldn't tell him about little finger seeing as he's not really aware of him.

Richard E grant and Kevin Eldon were cool surprises! I love the Tormund and Brienne silly love thing! Cant be in for nothing. Will he galiantly save her?

Image

This season does seem to have more lulz than the other seasons! The brooding comment was great!

Oh oh! and the new red woman! What was said in the flames?! How does she know that stuff?! Is the lord of light the true god? Or is the many faced god? Are all the gods the same? Is there no god and its just magic?

OMG already halfway through the season! So much has happened!!!

A S6E05 Tweet
Spoiler:
Guess most people saw this during the after show. The actor that plays Bran tweeted, "Nice one, Bran" after the show!

Poor Bran. Screwing at all up!

Spoiler:
Wow! Another great episode! Benjin is back, and taken on the story from "cold hands" whoever that is in the books. He was almost a white walker then turned back.

Arya is now back to being arya and an assassin! But the waif now wants to kill her! where will that go?

The faith totally pwned the crown. Never saw that coming! Next week, clegane bowl?

The freys are back too! And talking about the brotherhood without banners. Could this mean lady stone heart is incoming? Or yet more proof of the hound returning?

And dany is now on her way to westeros on the 1000 boats that are coming over from last week. possibly for the season end?

S6E06:

Spoiler:
A lot of manoeuvring to put people in position for a bit finale, I feel. Most exciting for me is that Jaime and Brienne will be on opposing teams at Waterfortcastlething (I have no idea of the names of anything in this show - since when has that girl been called The Waif?!).

Spoiler:
In case anyone was forgetting who Blackfish is:

Image

I hadn't twigged about Brienne and Jamie going against each other.

I'd have been surprised if Arya had followed through with her assassination simply because she's no longer Arya Stark if she had and therefore no longer of interest. I don't know what she was planning long term whether she wanted to go along with the training as far as possible then leave with those skills or she's had a change of heart after speaking to that lady, she does seem to realise her days are numbered and she's ready to defend herself. I was expecting the other lady to kill the target subtly after Arya failed since she was expecting it anyway.

I think we were expecting High Sparrow to have something up his sleeve as he knew he didn't have the ability to fight an army although I wasn't expecting that, I'm wondering if part of the deal is the brother gets released as well - it doesn't seem like it given the High Sparrow's intolerance of such things. As much as I dislike Xersei it was good to see the strength coming back into her and Lady Tyrell was good as ever, understanding exactly what was going on while Lord Tyrell didn't.

Spoiler:
I found this useful:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/2016/05/3 ... ure-tully/

I'm pretty sure he's the guy that when they were having the viking funeral and the designated archer kept missing the boat to set it alight, Blackfish fired an arrow and hit it perfectly.

Thanks John, that was useful!

Also the compare the look of the character from the series to the book was good: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/2016/04/0 ... they-look/ (Spoilers in there unless you've started Series 6-ish).

So, are we looking forward to episode 7?

Spoiler:
And if that isn’t enough to convince you, there’s also the comment that co-executive producer Bryan Cogman recently made regarding episode seven. “All I can say about next week’s episode is there was a week of shooting a particular sequence/storyline that was my favorite week on set in six seasons of Game of Thrones,”

How about now?
