Hehe, i was being pre-emptive, and john was being efficient! 2 was on the old forum, 2.1 was on the techpond, and we're now on 3! good times!

Today i have bought nothing! But i did buy a jacket and a dress for the gf's bday, as well as afternoon tea at the lowry! Which i would highly recommend! As it was brilliant! 5 different finger sandwiches, 2 cakes, a banoffee trifle shot, 2 scones, and tea! Was stuffed at the end!

You got a link for the screen protector for the Desire please? Bro is in the market for one.

I bought a load of clothes of Asos, mainly suit stuff for work.

Previously I used to keep my PS3 upstairs and my brother had one downstairs which was pretty handy until he moved out and took the PS3 with him. I was going to move mine downstairs but I was split on whether I wanted it upstairs or down, downstairs has a better TV and more room for the instruments but I like being to watch a blu-ray or play some standard games in my own room so I decided to go for the slim. It makes for a fairly expensive blu-ray player but it seems to do that job well, the Hybrid is being really picky about blu-rays at the moment and I've read people having some problems playing new blu-rays on standalone players.

Ras: Matt was the efficient one as he locked the last topic so he deserves the credit.

A dualit four slice toaster. It's just lovely. A LitterMaid which is an automatic cat litter tray. The cat does it's business, then after it leaves a rake pulls across pulling all the yucky stuff into a hopper at the end :) Totally cool.

There's not much in the stores, and I got bitten for a new Vax carpet washer/vacuum cleaner which was almost 1/3 more expensive in Currys than on amazon. I've got a henry too which is the king of vacuums in my mind, although they had a Dyson man in the shop who I confused for normal staff, and the pained expression when I started on the Dyson are too expensive rant, which he was clearly very used to left me feeling like I should buy one just to cheer him up. I didn't though.

Anyway, the Vax, that's with Currys discount and it was still more expensive. It is rather good, it's one of the old style orange things and has done a nice job behind the tv where the cats had widdled (and then hidden with dirt from a flower pot >_< ) I have a stand up carpet washer too, but someone is borrowing that indefinately so...

As for tech, I was moping around yesterday looking for stuff and couldn't find anything to justify an impulse buy. And as I said Amazon are still loads cheaper than all the high street stores. I'm seriously tempted by one of the Dyson "way way way to expensisve" fans. They have no blades, they just look like a ring. They are two hundred quid though, so it will be a dark day before I crack I hope.
