Dearest blog,

I agree, I love the lit keyboard on the macbook, and even bought a lit keyboard for my desktop, so I'm hacked off with some faceless carbon unit going all utilitarian and only having it on when it;s dark.

Maybe a dumb question but couldn't you find where the sensor is and just block it over so it appears dark all the time? Unless it makes the screen brightness change also...

Dear CAKE!!

Is that a massive layer of whipped cream filling and then a massive layer of whipped cream topping and then a massive layer of whipped cream insulation round the sides?! Nom nom! No wonder you needed the massive scoop for it!

Dear Recipe,

It's (from the bottom) Cake (made with 6 eggs + sugar), sticky chocolate filling (made with 2 eggs, 2 full bars of dark chocolate), a layer of double whipped cream, then it's the cake and chocolate repeated again, all covered in whipped cream. Finally it's got pure 100% Venuzualan black cacao (from Willies Wonky Chocolate Factory) grated over the top and chocolate tubes for decoration. One slice is probably your whole calorie intake for the day.

Dear Blog,

Surely that should be in the fitness thread as it sounds very healthy?

Dear Blog,

I did think about putting it in a spoiler button so Ras didn't have to look at it.

Dear blog,

Made it to the south of France - very nice weather here and a lovely swimming pool at the rental villa so we are just chilling out.

The drive down was horrendous. I didn't realise that the French version of motorways is essentially like our dual carriageways and they charge you a frikkin huge toll to have the privilege of sitting in traffic on them. Seriously, driving in France sucks.... Ah well, at least another week before I have to drive back.

Time for a San Miguel, some red wine and a sunbathe me thinks.
