I'm really impressed with the size and weight of the camera with the larger zeiss lens on it. Well balanced and easy to walk around with. With the 16-50 kit lens folded in, its tiny!

And i quite like the silver and black design. I really wanted the white, but its not available in the UK. And i get £100 cashback getting it in this country! So that makes it cheaper than hong kong!

Natural history museum yesterday. Did this with the lighting that was already there, as well as a bounce flash off the ceiling to help fill out the front of the skull!

No idea what I'm doing but they look better than using my iphone.

My 7D MII arrived and I have been rather overwhelmed by how many features it has. After spending years using the 20D I was quite used to it and could adjust stuff on the fly really easily but the learning curve for the 7d is huge. I haven't had much time to play with it properly but have attached a quick sample shot:

Not really in focus as I was using a remote shutter and it is poorly composed but it gives an idea of the camera at least. The files are massive and apparently I can't open my raw files with anything so I'm going to have to risk updating my pirated lightroom I guess.

Haha! Well, sounds like I've been doing it a bit longer than you! That's all I can say really, practise, practise, practise!

Doubt I'd be sharing many of my first few efforts back in the day.

Some Nice shots there!

I went for a walk on Sunday and then went for a pub lunch. It's times like these that I wish I had something more substantial than my phone camera.
