Chromecast Audio

Postby Johnmcl7 » 28 Feb 2016, 18:51

As people have probably noticed, Argos and PCW/Currys are selling the Chromecast Audio for £15 which I'm quite tempted by even though admittedly I don't tend to listen to music in a room (usually either headphones or when I'm on a PC) I'm quite tempted to buy a pair to have a play with for that price particularly as I really like the video Chromecast. Anyone here use use a Chromecast audio?

I use chromecast in the bedroom now. I don't use chrome audio as i have a bluetooth speaker. But i'm sure it would be useful! Esp for £15.

I dithered over this for a while as I'm fairly sure I won't end up using it however curiousity got the better of me so picked one up today and set it up which is all very easy to do, as much as I wanted to get two to try the zone feature it's likely a waste of money. Particularly with the new Pi out which offers onboard wireless and still for £30, I quite fancy trying one of those to make a Squeezebox player out of.
