Looks cool to me. Think I might be getting one in my place but think it only reads what I'm using and doesn't send data to the suppliers. Will have to look into it.

How much is installation etc?

tried to sign up for it, no slots available at the moment. Think I'm on the list, will need to check.

There's no cost as it's a government initiative. You won't save any money either unless you monitor consumption and change your usage patterns etc.
