Thanks Robbo, that looks like it could be handy.

Still not ready to download on my Samsung Series 7 Chronos... apparently there are quite a few compatibility issues which is a shame, I can't stand win 8.

Have it ready for installation on my desktop but that is running win 7 at the moment and I really like that so quite reluctant...

Just got win 10 on the laptop this morning! So much better than Win8 but I'm not sure yet if I will prefer it to win7... will give it a few weeks testing before I upgrade the desktop.

I'm back on w7 on my laptop. Tried a fateful Sony factory refresh but after trying to uninstall some bloatware the machine became unusable so went for a clean w7 install. Everything seems to be work fine but just needing some blu-ray player software - haven't got vlc to work (had done years ago but not at the mo).

Anyway, haven't had the w10 upgrade option pop up yet so either I've more updates to install still - Windows Update says I'm up to date - or was there an OEM restriction on updates to w10? Either way, I don't want it on this machine due to my well documented driver issues from w8 onwards. Otherwise I've found w10 fine to use on desktops/laptops.

More for handy link storing for me than sharing info but another how to make sure w10 doesn't download/install article. Or in reverse to install w10 before a year is up. http://www.windowscentral.com/how-preve ... loading-pc

Thought I may as well put this here. MS ending unlimited storage for OneDrive and free storage is lowering from 15GB to 5GB. http://www.windowscentral.com/microsoft ... ge-options

Not sure how much I actually use but had wanted to upload all my music to the cloud. Might have to look into using Google again if my 1TB storage allowance drops down when my free 1 year 365 sub finishes in December. Hardly use any of my 1TB Flickr storage but read in the comments that Google have lots of space for pictures/music on their cloud drives.

Love google music. Uploaded my whole library and can stream it on any android or google device. Bit glitchy on the upload and sorting, but otherwise great.

Oh, great, so some nob ends are spoiling it for everyone. Just have a fair-use policy. Although 1TB is more than enough for a bonus with an Office Subscription.

I really hope they keep the bonus for people that use MS products. I read somewhere that the Camera Roll bonus is going away. They need that to encourage Lumia use.

I'm only using 6GB of my 140GB tbf. Groove comes with 100GB... I didn't know that.

I've got a 100GB Bing bonus which runs out in Feb 2017. My Office 365 1TB runs out on Christmas day unless I renew Office - I've an option to try and buy a University 4 yr 365 deal for £60 but do I really use Office that much to update from my 2010 disc? Then there's another loyalty bonus of 10GB.

And yes, they're taking away the Camera Roll bonus 15GB. Hope there's a reversal on that in the future as I'm using 7.5GB at the mo with 6.5GB just being my camera roll! I don't think that's full res back ups either...

I've only just found out about this program: GWX Control Panel. Stops the W10 update, gets updates to stop new ways MS want it to be installed. http://ultimateoutsider.com/downloads/

That sounds handy, I need to get my Mum's PC sorted before it 'accidentally' gets upgraded to Windows 10.
