Lumia 620 is down to £129.99 at O2 so a little tempting but will wait for the 720 to drop. And then drop in price too. Will be waiting a while me thinks...

I bought the HTC 8X used from Amazon for £198 (sold by Amazon so expect it to be like new). Seems a good price and if I don't like WP8 I will sell it for same or more money from looking at prices on Ebay

the phone is like new but it is faulty, it keeps freezing quite often so I am returning it

I didn't expect WP8 to be that nice and I found lots of apps I used on Android free on Microsoft's marketplace so I will try to buy it cheap again but Amazon doesn't have it used in stock so I will have to keep checking their site and ebay

me again, I ordered the Ativ S cheaply on contract (o2 and will be canceling my t-mobile contract in 2 months) as I didn't want to buy another faulty 8X...many are complaining about the 8X freezing issue

Oooo, an Ativ S, nice choice. I actually know no one (irl or social networky) who has one of these, no idea why, lots of storage, and very similar to a Galaxy S3, but a nicer shell imo.

Had a Google (with Bing) of "8X freezing" and I see it affected quite a few handsets. Shame for HTC, I thought they were starting to find their way again in the mobile space. Hopefully the first HTC One handsets don't have any such issues.

They're not off to a good start with the new model as they're struggling to get the parts for it so they've had to delay its release.

Really loving the Lumia 920 and I much prefer it over the old SG Note.

It just seems to work a whole lot better and I dont get those annoying crashes that seem to happen all too often in Android devices.

Thinking about getting some NFC tags to play around with now as well.

I'm pleased to hear after all your deliberations you're happy with your choice.

I cancelled the Ativ order as I will want I think the Note 3 and I bought another 8X used (only couple of months old). Hope this one has no issues as I really liked the phone.

My 12 month sim only deal with 3 is about £6.90 a month and I got quidco cashback too. 500mb, 200mins and about 5000 texts. But do you need a special iPhone sim for it to work with an iPhone?

money supermarket link has the same deal for iPhone too. http://www.moneysupermarket.com/mobile- ... /sim-only/

yep, wasn't much of a fight, they put me through to retentions and they re-stated my loyalty rate for another 12 months.

Forgot to get them to give free voicemail. Might call them back in the week and tell them to block it.
