Was a surprise to see someone from MS rock up to promote their Office suite.

I have to say i did like the implementation of force touch on the iphone 6s.

Its a shame MS cannot their arses into gear with their phones.

The iPad Pro seems like a waste of time, I can't see what you can do on a 12" iOS device that you can't do on a 9" one? The Pro needed to run either full OSX or some sort of hybrid "Windows RT" type OS.

The Apple TV might be OK but it's still just another micro console, its got the same limitations as all the others. Surely if I care enough to want to game on a big screen I would have a proper console? I might get one to replace my 2nd Gen version which is showing its age, but it depends on price as I don't really need another box to put Neflix on the TV.

Phone is as expected, its a bit better iPhone 6. Probably going to wait for the 7. I am however very interested in the Apple upgrade program $32 - $40 a month over 24 months for a new iPhone with Apple Care + however at 12 months the option to just swap to the new model. This I would be interested in them launching here.

Pretty much, but with your choice of network, and considering I can't get Vodafone actually appealing to me if it was to launch in the UK.

And also with out Vodafone's punitive "fair ware and tear" policy.

I didn't realise that this cartoon was actually from 2012 when the Surface originally came out! Great foresight. Suppose I should've seen the 2012 copyright at the bottom...

Wife has broken her iphone 5 and is using mine now so I am relegated to my work blackberry (shudder). My iphone 5 has lost its ability to hold a charge properly so looking to replace both... so... iPhone 6+ or 6s+ or something in the shape of android? I hated android on the original galaxy s so unless it is closer to ios now I will avoid.

Also what's the deal with the apple watch?

I was going to go 6 on a deal but didn't find that many as I figured it gave a year for the features in the 6+ to become settled and then jump on the 7 wagon.

Ended up going 6s+ as she wanted rose gold, now gold and the better camera should come in handy for her. I'm buying outright and then a £12 contract sim only I think to try and keep costs down as much as possible and so figured may as well drop the extra 80 quid on the newer model.

Have pre-ordered a 6s+ as well.

Wifes 5c is "unrepairable" according to the shop that did the crap fix in the first place... Steff, you want it?

Just dont upgrade to ios 9. Apple seem to be using a live beta test with the millions that have downloaded it! Had LOTS of people at work complaining about it.

Well I have only gone and bought an iPhone 6s as not 100% happy with the GS6 Edge.

Much happier as stuff just bloody works. The fingerprint scanner is vastly better than the Samsung one. ApplePay works really well too. As an experience of stuff just working it is miles better than Samsung.

Ideally I would have preferred a Windowsphone based mobile but I got tired of far too many compromises and too many empty promises. Hopefully this will change in a year or two but for now I am happy with the iphone 6s.

I'll be honest my experience with Iphones is that they don't just work although perhaps that's when trying to get them to do something aside from basic functions, their wireless connectivity in particular with non-Apple devices is just hilariously bad particularly with Apple still refusing to support NFC. Then again I've no interest in the S6 either, seems a pretty half-assed device which I'm hoping will prompt another u-turn from Samsung given how crap the Note 5 also is but the future doesn't look for Samsung.

the tab S2 is bloody fantastic as a piece of hardware, I also love Android. Unfortunately Samsung mutts it up with their apps and services which just duplicate (poorly IMHO) the ones hardwired into Android by Google. At least you can put the google now launcher on and get rid of that crap skin. Samsung need to dial their rebranding of Android down.
