it was recently the Swiftkey were working with him and after it worked well seemed to be the trigger for him to denounce AI as causing the end of the world which I guess is in some ways a compliment to how well the Swiftkey system works.

Finally received my Mozo cover for my phone. Only ordered it about 3 months ago! It looks rather sexy. Red and gold, like Raz's tech!

No official w10m update for my 925. Have read some people online saying it was stable on their phone so went to it again on my phone. Went to select the Release Preview from the insider preview app (as opposed to the slow or fast ring suspecting it would be the most stable of the bunch) but when I go to confirm I get an error: cannot configure device because it is currently preparing an update. Trying a phone update says I'm on the up to date software.

Oh well.

So, I was bored after my post last Saturday and had nothing to do so backed up then reset my 925 and then tried installing w10m. It worked. Got an update and another one the other day. Seems to run alright. No big glaring bugs I can see - just a few missed unlocks or apps closing after the screen lock and some slowness here and there. Scrolling seems faster than before and the 925's inherent jerkiness when scrolling is still there. Otherwise, it seems to run well.

Mrs T had the official upgrade on her 735. She finds it a bit buggy, at least compared to the stability of Windows Phone that preceded it. Just things like the Outlook tile displaying unread messages when she's read them or the Groove Music app not changing to the next track. It gets monthly updates addressing many issues, but I wonder how long she will stick it out before going back to WP / going to an iPhone.

There was an obvious bug/annoyance I've picked up on but forgotten what it is now. Not sure how long I'll stick with it but there are some nice bits to the different bits.

Partly due to money but am waiting to see if there's a nice mid range android around the corner (moto G update possibly) or stick with wp. Will see...

Would you try a 550 / 650 or is that too budget for your tastes? You do use the camera quite a bit and I assume they've skimped on the camera in those models to reduce costs.

The 650 feels good in the hand but not tried the camera apart from taking a few pics of the security cord in cpw. Tempted to get a 550 for cheap payg upgrade but I'm guessing w10m would run similarly on it to how it does now on my 925.

I wouldn't have thought so. W10 wasn't pushed to the 925 because of user feedback on stability, so there are obviously some issues. W10 was designed to run on the 550, 650, 950 and 950 XL.

As much as I used to love the WP interface I am so much happier after swapping to an iPhone 6s as you can actually find stuff if necessary. If MS could get anywhere near iOS or Android I would be back like a shot.
Unfortunately for them I got fed up with the poor imitations of the apps on the other ecosystems.

Its a shame as I am sure there are/were many others like me who got fed up waiting.

I'm getting that way now and is the reason I went z5c before returning it due to multiple reboots and issues.

There have the odd search results page scrolling weirdness and a dictionary/typing issue today but it seems quite stable although you're right, would need to try a 'proper' w10m phone to see how it compares. Am wondering why they didn't push it to this phone at the moment unless these random bugs become more apparent and daily - it was a mess in early builds - but from reading around even the proper phones have awkward bugs!

Well I decided to go back to wp8.1 on my 925 - it's a much better experience for it. W10m was starting to get sloooow on it and as it's just a back up phone for photos, music and podcast, thought it best. Having used it again recently does make me want to see what MS do next with any mobile offerings.

You must be one of the last remaining TPers to use a Windowsphone. I suspect most are either a Samsung Galaxy something or other or iPhone.
I do miss my Lumia even though it lacked the style of the Samsung/iPhones.
