ConvertXtodvd is a good one I've used before. Did have problems burning to disc a few times so let it just make the image and then burnt to disc using imgBurn.

Is paid for unless you want to go the other route. http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/

Never really found a good free dvd maker.

I used to use covertxtodvd, but I noticed some dvd players didn't like the discs created. Again using the same method as Robbo, create with convertx and burn with a different progam like ashampoo burning studio or nero. So now I just use nero7. Not come across a dvd player which wouldn't play one created by that. Again not free but nero7 is available the other route with no issues unlike 8 and 9.
