Ok, cheers robbo.

One question, when I do an image will everything be the same? Like all music files, iTunes with all ratings etc? All my installed programs?

Yes, it should be. I've only ever made an image - not yet backed up using one. I plan to in the next couple of weeks though with my laptop. If the image saves the whole hard drive I don't see why it shouldn't save your itunes ratings etc also.

Well, sent that Lenovo back and got a HP DM1 with AMD E450, 4 GB RAM, 320GB HDD, so same but slightly smaller HDD.

Much prefer this laptop to the lenovo, so a blessing in disguise I guess.

Got it from PC World and had a horrible experience with staff trying to upsell me and not realising I know stuff about PC's. So much so I even wrote an email to customer services!!

Looks a good machine for the money, I've never quite understood why HP don't really bother with the European market as they have some good machines.

My new work machine has been pretty solid so far - 5 hours on battery and chunks through office type applications.

The only thing I'd change on it is windows 7 although I am getting used to it...

The Lenovo came with this program which would keep your battery at 50% to help save the health of it, as I use mine plugged in most the time.

Anyone know of a program that will do this available? Can't seem to find anything at all.

Thanks.
