Amusingly my Vaio scores just 3.4 for gaming graphics although its hard drive is a more impressive 7.8.

Interesting. I get 6.4 for graphics and 7.9 for HD. You have the SSD in yours?

The alienware looks really nice Ras, I've banned myself from shopping though :/

Alienware with the lights on, and the roccat kone in matching lights! Playing battlefield.

If the missus would let me open my 7R0N watch, this pic would be full of lights!

I have the older Z series so it's only an Nvidia 9300 and twin SSDs rather than quad.

Chris, I'd say TF2's ability to run pretty well on most hardware is one of the reasons it's lasted so long as it must be a good few years since it was released now.

Topcashback claim came back today. They were tracking £85, but i disputed as it should have been £124 as they had advertised 15% cashback. But the dispute ended up turning into 15% after vat, not before! So £155!! So price is now reflected as follows:

£1400 (real price with forced upgraded i7 due to stock levels)
£1344 (listed price)
£1199 (Eurogamer offer price)
£1010 (15% voucher price)
£905 (10% refund of £105 because they cant send me a bag and i threatened to send the machine back!)
£750 (£155 topcashback tracking as i disputed the claim and it got amended to 15% AFTER VAT price!)

Its ridiculous isnt it! Granted, other people might not get the 10% refund, and the cashback is £70 more than it would be now. But getting it down to £930 after cashback was a good deal! I just happen to have been awesome with the money!

Although in danger of it sounding like a robin slip, i cant resist touching it! It feels very good, being all soft touch plastic and things! No flex in the keyboard, and a brilliant amount of travel in the keys! Typing is a dream on it! It clacks away brilliantly, and has been described as a "hybrid mechanical".

And performance wise, i'm loving it! I've turned off intel smart step and turbo boost, and CPU hits 86C instead of 99C in BF3 now! GPU is now running at 76C as i've passed phsyX control away from the cpu. 6Gb ram is probably a bit too much, as there's almost always 2Gb overhead free. But happy that its there when needed. i do wonder why people pay extra for the 8gb!

RAGE has been burning through, with each new verde driver coming out for the GT555M improving performance on a raft of games! BF3 is now high on multiplayer! granted its 30fps, not 120. but i can game at 30fps no worries!

And now listening to music on it in the shower, sa the speakers are pretty decent! Its just like having my M1710 back! And love the light show!
