Im just hopeing Fallout has the story humour and life of the originals, with that I can put up with clunky shooting mechanics, as Fallout isnt and never should be a shooter.

Im not that taken with FarCry, its looking impressive but then again so did Crysis and that was a big plate of bullshit and chips

Crysis was a linear experience, Far Cry 2 isn't.

I have to disagree, I find my self only playing it because it is one of the game that cost me the most, a full £24, however I have not enjoyed it at all.

But then its horses for courses

I hope fallout 3 doesn't suffer from that awful 'casual' dialogue that Oblivion had. While it was a great idea for the idle citizens to have conversations they sounded so strange due to the small number of recorded lines. It also didn't work when the beggars went from 'can ye spare some coin for me children' to full blown received pronounciation.

'Hello'
'I hear daedra worship is increasingly common in the somerset isles'
'Good bye'

Id rather they left out the background dialoge all together rather than it be terrible.

Also hoping that the monsters arnt leveled, I completed Oblivion at level 10 with pretty basic equipment because the monsters werent realy a challenge.

I would hate to come up against a super mutant that I knew I could beat at low level, same with deathclaws.

I read somewhere that the monsters aren't leveled, can't remember where though.

I've been reading all the Spore comments in this thread; I'm glad I decided not to buy it now!

Yeah, haven't gone back to it at all..annoyed with myself as I rarely buy games at full price brand new but you win some, you lose some.

What makes me laugh is all the fuss about the DRM limits when it was such a crap game that three activations was probably two more than most people needed ;)
