Ahh, fond memories of playing the first version many years ago. Those clips had me in stitches. Off to steam I go...

Day 2 of the sale and nothing I want to buy apart from the Witcher 2 if it goes on big discount.

Oh my word, it seems that I've bought all the back catalogue I want, so there can be too much of a good thing.

Tempted by the Sega package, and Anno 2070.

But nothing there that is really taking my fancy.

Anno 2070 has an interesting premise but looks like it may be too complicated for me, at £15 I think it's a bit much to take a punt on so will wait another time for it when the price may be lower.

I've gone for Alan Wake today as it's cheap enough to give it a go which is what I enjoy about the Steam sale, there's plenty cheap enough that you can have a read over and give it a go and if it turns out to be not my thing well there's not much lost. It reminds me of the C64 days when we used to wander into the computer shop, have a look on the back of the boxes and screenshots, make a choice then hand over the £2.99 or similar and give the game a shot. If the game wasn't any good then next week we could try another one whereas with some of the expensive games these days I spend a lot longer reading up to see if it's worth the money. The catch with the Steam games is of course waiting for the download, 15GB for BF3 on Origin was painful and Max Payne 3 is a hefty 30GB :( With my download maxed out that means a lengthy 24 hours of sustained download and the connection has a download cap on week days between 8am and midnight.

Amusingly Worms Reloaded runs just as badly as the Golf version making it completely unplayable on my desktop machine.

Just got Tropico 4 as I've always enjoyed them in the past, spent many hours playing 2 on my missus' laptop.

And "The Binding of Issac" which was £1.74, quite a fun game a little bit odd, but for that little money you can't really complain and it runs on the Mac as well as Windows.

I have Borderlans with all the DLC and it's one of my favourite games but I'd say the big problem with it is the single player isn't much fun on your own and the co-op only really works if you play through at the same pace as someone else.

I've been wanting GTA IV from this sale and it's come up on the vote but I can't seem to get my vote to register which is irritating, it takes my back to the main screen again but without my choice selected. Also hoping Assassin's creed will come up cheap at some point.

As I've found the hard way (or more expensive way!) it's best to wait for the daily deals as that's when the maximum discount is available which in this case means it's just a fiver when bought today.

Assassin's creed was a bit disappointing with revelations for a tenner and that's it so far.

Hi Y'all,

Just picked up the Batman Arkham Package (Asylum; City + DLC) for £17.99.

Pity it was in one of their Flash (8 hour) Sale.

Already had Arkham Asylum but seemed too good a deal to miss.

I now have to step away from Steam or I'm going to buy soo much more.

Bit of an odd request but can someone post a screen shot, trying to get the "Pillar of Community" badge but none of my friends have a screeny for me to comment on.

Can I also get an invite to the Techpond group?

Also Total War Mega Pack £8.74, very tempted but can I find time for more epic games?

Scarbunny I've just published a screenshot to my profile if you're still needing it, I need a screenshot to comment on as well.
