Perhaps PC piracy isn't as bad as it seems

Postby Johnmcl7 » 10 Aug 2011, 19:54

I was reading this article on Arstechnica:

http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news ... s-gone.ars

It's primarily about the drop in music piracy but what I found particularly interesting is how small the portion of games there are being pirated and conversely how much pornography is being pirated. Given the increasingly extreme DRM measures on PC games with always online connections and no LAN play which have killed some games for me, the piracy doesn't appear that bad at all.
