Xbox Memory Unit

Postby scarbunny » 27 Jan 2010, 16:23

I'm trying to get hold of an Xbox Memory Unit so I can move my Profile from the living room to the bedroom with ease but can't find one for the life of me.

So 2 questions

1) Any one know where I can buy an official one.
2) Failing that do unofficial ones still work? The last update was suppose to stop them.

Cheers.

CEX have a good price, but non online and non at my nearest store, although my nearest store is Liverpool. A £150 boat trip away.

I may buy from Amazon, but I am still dubious as to the officialness of the card I will get as they are from the market place.

I love Microsoft, I am willing to buy an over priced flash tiny memory card because I want to make sure it works because they blocked fakes/unofficial ones.

But it seems after blocking the fakes they stopped making their official ones, or at least not shipping them in the UK, so I am not allowed to buy a stupidly over priced tiny flash memory card.

I bought mine second hand from Gamestation, I assume you have to buy online?

I bought one from the amazon re-seller georgesmith25 in november, worked fine. They've gone up a few quid since I bought mine though. Still had all the previous owners saves on it but i just formatted it and all was good.

Grabbed one from eBay, wasn't convinced at first but it arrived the next day and seems to work fine.
