What TV series have you watched?

I watched the first 7 episodes of Narcos 3 over the weekend and still love it. I also watched Strike over the last 2 weekends and really enjoyed this too. Much more enjoyable detective show than the over-egged Sherlock if you ask me.

Gaming Laptop Under £800

I haven't owned a gaming laptop since my Rock XCT now and the most powerful laptop I have is my Core I5 powered Surface Pro 3 which is getting on a bit. Even my desktop is over 6 years old now! I have been thinking about upgrading the desktop as the son plays a bit on this although he spends most of...

My road to hell...Part Deux

Well as some of you may have already seen on the book of faces, I am taking part in the 75 mile London to Brighton Offroad again this year. Although I have added the twist of training my teenage son from a complete beginner and dragging him around with me. All I can tell you is that teenagers have a...

Dear Blog V XV - the blog strikes back

Dear Ras

Conblogulations on the new post. I hope it turns out to be great.

Never understood why people would pay so much more for Nando's over KFC. I don't see either as a premium product. At least the Nando's waiting staff don't appear to be comatose like they are in many KFC's.

What you playing at the minute?

Dear Deirdre,
I have a horrible feeling that I have grown out of gaming!! I haven't played a game in ages and cannot get enthused to start and nothing is particularly inspiring me at the moment either.

Am I getting OLD?!

Game of Thrones thread

I cannot commit to this its a ridiculous amount of time to waste when I could be out on my bike/motorbike.

Rather fed up of overlong American TV shows where the stories get more ridiculous as each series goes on. This is why I wont watch Lost or The Walking Dead either. CBA

Yes I will be dong the 125km Offroad London to Brighton again this year. been getting back into riding since mid-May as couldn't ride for about 4/5 months due to a knee problem. Dear Blog V XV - the blog strikes back

Dear Blog, Well Rus, I prefer the second of the two. What is the significance of the earphones? The only problem with image 2 is that there is nothing EVIL about it. John, a ride from Perth to Inverness? That's quite some ride as has to be around 120 miles. Are you using a skinny wheeled bike and st...

What have you bought today - VOL 4

Well after many months of consideration I have finally purchased a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt cycle gps/computer as it is available for £180 from Wiggle for 'Gold' members. I declined the Amazon Prime offer of £189 for the Garmin Edge 520. Most of the reviews from people who have gone to Wahoo after years of...

John, I have to agree with you on Vettel. The fact he did it as an act of rage is inexcusable and in my opinion he should have been black-flagged in the race OR given a harsh penalty outside of it. He has form for this kind of thing when at Red Bull (even though he blamed Webber). I don't want borin...

I thought Vettel's behaviour was outrageous and very petulant. If the tables were turned I am sure Hamilton would have been dealt with more severely.

What Film have you just watched? 2016+

I went to watch Baby Driver on Saturday, despite my issues with the cringiness of the name it was fairly ok. It boils down to being a heist/car chase/love story type of film with a twist. The twist being that there is a bit of music involved, which is always good for the online sales no doubt. The s...
