It's not easy to directly influence the search engines, the uklaptops forum has numerous references and has been up for a week now but there's not a single google link finding it.

Re: Wireless internet in Ubuntu on a Pegasus 670

Assuming you have the hardware switched on - Are you using the Gnome (standard on Ubuntu) or KDE desktop?

On Gnome - in the top right hand corner is a network icon - right click this and check the settings and if necessary input the SSID and passphrase/password details.

You sleep with a dog and an XPS!

Speak to a letting agent and ask them to draw up a short list that meets your requirements. Will save you wasted time and they should be made to earn their money the shysters almost as bad as a proper estate agents for not wanting to do work.

Ideally I would like to install Ubuntu desktop on my M1330 and run XP and/or Vista virtually so I wont have all that rebooting no...

Re: Chris' XPS M1330 Review

Worth mentioning it's entirely capable of HD-output through the HDMI-out and that soon enough you should be able to get a Blu Ray drive. But be sure to go with the 8400GS, without a dedicated GPU i don't think you'll even manage to output in high-def. You didn't mention the insane optical drive noi...
