Re: What you playing at the minute?

Picked up Surgeon Simulator on steam in a sale and thought of John. I played about 20 mins, it is stupid and hard. Essentially you have control of one hand that is almost completely divorced from feel and logic and then you have to fumble your way through surgeries without killing the patient. The s...

Re: What Film have you just watched?

Watched The Lone Ranger with Jack Sparrow being an Indian. It is a rubbish film, I fell asleep. 2/10

Also watched The Orphanage - not a bad film but it wasn't scary and was fairly predictable. Enjoyable enough though 6.5/10

Dear blog, When I rode to work 2 days ago I noticed the FI light wasn't going out, I parked up at work and did some research into reading FI error codes on the VFR so I could diagnose when I went on my lunch break. When I went back to the bike I notice a little pool of oil on the floor, it looks lik...

Re: What have you bought today - VOL 3

I just topped up my premium bonds to the max amount thanks to my redundancy payment finally coming through. Unfortunately I didn't think properly about the right time to invest as they need to be in for a clear month before they are active so I can't "win" on the new bonds until the Feb dr...

Re: What you playing at the minute?

I haven't really been playing many games lately apart from Civ 4 with my wifey. She is a massive wetty though and insists that we play on the same team all the time as she hates loosing. I tried the Stanley Parable - it is a very odd game. The narrator can be quite entertaining but I quickly tired o...

Dear Blog Getting thoroughly hacked off with Virgin broadband. I have been on the same cable service for about 15 years and up until the last couple of years it has been near faultless. However, now there are very frequent slow downs or disconnections. Along with their traffic shaping policies this...

Dear blog, Some scally stole my seat post and seat from my rockhopper when it was parked up in Barnes a week or so ago - looking around it was about £120 to replace with stock parts so I bought a carbon seatpost (not sure how well it will stand up to being offroaded but we will see!) and a Brooks B1...
