What TV series have you watched?

I gave up a couple of episodes in and didn't seem worth the hassle getting back into it.

What have you bought today - VOL 4

Summer is definitely here at the moment, on one hand it's great to have bone dry trails with lots of grip but it can be quite a killer riding in this heat. I decided to treat myself to a Logitech Craft keyboard as I've been looking for a new keyboard with laptop style keys and backlighting without a...

What Film have you just watched? 2016+

Annoyingly the nice local cinema is not showing Deadpool 2 but I think I might breach my self imposed ban on Vue this time to see the film. I'm not sure what to think of Solo, I'm really not keen on the idea of it at all and it's getting lukewarm reviews. I thought Rogue One wasn't bad but ultimatel...

Topping MX3 - Desktop Ammplifier

Headphone amps do make a lot of sense as a lot of standard devices don't have the power to drive bigger headphones (I have some headphones only more specialist mp3 players can drive, the likes of mobile phones don't have a high enough output), I can also see the benefit of combining that with a USB ...

I decided to squeeze in Infinity War before popping down to London. On the whole I thought they did pretty well with what was pretty much an impossible task to bring together so many different characters into one storyline but at the same time it suffers quite a bit for it as it simply can't giv...

Topping MX3 - Desktop Ammplifier

I'm not quite seeing the point of this over a decent soundcard? It doesn't look like it can be separately used as a portable headphone amp like the Fiio units could. I use a PCI-E soundcard for my desktop and don't need an amplifier for my headphones.

2018: Techpond's 10 year anniversary meet!

Well that was fun, see you all in another ten years? It feels a bit like a wedding in that there's lots of preparation and planning to get everyone together then it's over before you know it. As much as it's a struggle to come south of the wall to the busy city lights of London it worked out well hi...

That was Fodder's recommendation, I won't take credit for it :D I was a little puzzled as I couldn't remember recommending anything. A KOM on the road is very impressive as I'm usually down in the thousands on the road bike, speaking of MTB and road I did my dual event which was 70km on the road fol...

What TV series have you watched?

I've been struggling through Lost in Space on Netflix but given up on it after episode 6 as I'm just finding it awful. I've seen the film remake but not the original series and I'm not sure who this new series is aimed at as it feels like a dated kid's TV series with irritating genius kids and their...

I thought Hela was an awful villain not for Cate Blanchett's role which I thought she did well but she really didn't have much to work with.Thor Ragnorok and other Marvel spoilers I did think Thor Ragnorok is a lot better than most of the recent MCU films but at the same time you could remove Hela f...

Are you being sarcastic? Bad guys in MCU are generally awful and something they've got badly wrong almost every time bar Loki.
