What have you bought today - VOL 4

I'm very tempted by a Stache 29+, hoping my mate gets one in as a demo bike in my size!

What Film have you just watched?

Hatefull8 last night.

Enjoyed it. Another well written and put together piece of entertainment by Tarantino. Almost went a bit too grindhouse in a couple of places but didn't quite tip over the edge. Samuel Jackson played himself again, as expected.

What TV series have you watched?

I liked the opening of Sense8. I find that if the first couple of episodes leave a lot of questions then the series can keep me hooked with the filling in. Also keep me entertained between episodes with my own speculations as to how the initial premise will develop. Unlike Scorpion which took the fo...

What TV series have you watched?

I liked Sense8, found it well written and some novel ideas.

Just finished Scorpion on Netflix.. started out good, then a bit meh and descended into "Really?". Not sure if I'll pick up on a second series if there is one.

Watching Live game streaming

Not right now but I have watched Quickybaby on World of Tanks, or Rita Sobrae as they both have Jingles on occasionally and it I found it a bit of mindless entertainment. I would add they are definitely not in the celebrity mindset, which the chap your talking about sounds to be. Jingles doesn't do ...

Depends what you have a need for. Early days of android saw a huge percentage of apps just being a skinned shortcut to a webpage, but that's very rare now with apps being a very slick way to deal with and manipulate information. I don't allow twatbook on my devices and I just don't 'get' twitter, so...

The nexus 5 is the best I have used so far, but I am not a big social app person.
If you can find one they should be pretty cheap by now.

the tab S2 is bloody fantastic as a piece of hardware, I also love Android. Unfortunately Samsung mutts it up with their apps and services which just duplicate (poorly IMHO) the ones hardwired into Android by Google. At least you can put the google now launcher on and get rid of that crap skin. Sams...

Dear Blog

I thought OSX used a unix print service or soemthing in the background, CUPS I think. Couldn't you have just used that? I seem to remember using it to print to virtually anything in an emergency.

What have you bought today - VOL 4

480p! Reminds me of the old Powermacs. I bought 14 top spec powermacs in 1996 and they cost a fortune. So you can imagine my frustration when copying customer files of CD at a snails pace. On investigation there were 2x CD roms fitted. You would have struggled to find any retail 2x units then so why...
