Re: 10 inch tablet

Chaps, please see the note thread re-cases. Likewise purchased the Note 10.1 via Tesco deal. Shame didn't know an employee. I have ordered the ultra slim case form china posted on the Note thread, so waiting it as well as a class 10 32GB micro-SD card. Also found these 2; might also order the leathe...

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Thread

It seems that the Galaxy 2 is most affected and older firmware versions of the Galaxy 3. Will make sure my sis's G2 is backed-up and secure. That is one of the disappointing things about the Samsung Note 10.1; the irony being the ipad 3 IPS retina (264 ppi) displays are made by samsung. This review ...

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Thread

I ended up purchasing this Samsung Note 10.1 ultra slim case , most of the leather cases either have those magnetic buttons what may damage the device or don't cover the whole edge of the Samsung Note 10.1. If I didn't purchase the above, I would have probably gone for this Yoobao Executive Case , e...

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note Thread

Brother has just purchased it. Also have the HP Touchpad. The OS on it is Jelly Bean, it's slick and smooth. Some lag running 2 or more apps. S pen is fantastic when converting written and maths formulae. Think I'm going to go for it too. Shame it doesnt have the super high res screen unlike the ipa...

Re: 10 inch tablet

I have been thinking about getting a Galaxy note 10.1 but was wondering which s pen it has. Is it like the newer Note 2 or the original s pen? What are other peoples thoughts on it? Edit - Just found out that it is the better more accurate s pen and software. Brother has just purchased it. Also hav...

Re: Pegasus 665 bios loop

Thanks John. I remember 2 of my friend's from back home had Fujitsu-Siemens laptops with the same chassis though whether also the same MOBO, will need to find out. I believe both had the same problem of their GPU burning out. I forgot to mention he wanted £100 (motherboard) + £79 (labour) replacing ...

Dear Robbo Try the Halifax Mastercard. My brother applied for one before his US trip & there are no charges, plus not risking using a debit account card that usually has low rates on international transactions. Dear Blog, Anyone here ever used a prepay card when travelling? Looking into getting ...

Re: Pegasus 665 bios loop

I couldn't agree more with regard to having basic diagnostics, but I think the difficulty with these machines e.g. uniwill chasis is difficultly in finding a FAQ or PDF motherboard guide. Unlike the Dells which has plenty of support. The single flash of the 3 lock keys and reboot loop was quite the ...

Re: Pegasus 665 bios loop

Thanks John. The sequence on turn on is the disc-drive engaging, then the hard-drive then one loud single beep while all 3, caps-lock/num-lock/scroll-lock lights flash just once. It then restarts with the same sequence. Tried this without the hard-drive & again the same sequence as well as tryin...
