Re: sports car - 5k?

Just saw a nice A4 soft top, are they likely to cone in budget? It would appear so, you might have to stretch it a bit but this one seems like a good shout. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201040370116947" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Dont for a second confuse it as b...

Re: sports car - 5k?

Unfortunately I let figures go a bit to my head and the astra just kind of fit the bill of doing what I needed when I had relatively limited to time to find a car (once I got my cheque I lost the hire car and I needed one for getting to and from work). I cant fault it too much as its been fantastica...

Re: sports car - 5k?

I spend most of my days lurking on motors forums now (hence my lack of posting here) please for the love of god do not buy a 5k M3, if it costs you anything less than 5K a year just to keep running I will be amazed. I wouldnt paticuarely reccomend old BMW coupes either, they are great cars, if and o...

Re: thinking of building a new rig

If you do decide to upgrade your GPU the OCUK value GTX460s (1024mb versions) are rather epic in terms of price / performance.

Not a massive leap from a 4890 but will give you DX11 if that floats your boat.

Re: Why, when I tried installing two GB of RAM

As others have said it will be something about the new ram that your motherboard doesn't like. The first thing I would suggest trying (after identifying the beep) is if it still does it when you only use the new RAM.

If it doesn't its most likely your board not liking the mixed types of RAM.

Re: Windows 7 profile question

What is it that you are trying to get out of the profile to transfer across? Thinks like internet favourits and app data you should just be able to copy directly from the named folders in the old profile to your new one though your mileage may vary on what does and doesnt work. I think from the look...

Re: Dear Blog V12

Dear Blog,

Oh right lol. I reckon it could still be the same thing though, its going to be either a buckle in the disc or the wheel not sitting quite right in the front forks causing the disk to spin at a slight angle.

Re: Dear Blog V12

Dear Blog, Didn't know about the trade in scheme the old one was a Giro - I bought a new one. New pannier rack fitted: this one attaches using the skewer through the wheel rather than bolting through other holes. Still wondering about what happened... Front disc brake is rubbing at one part in the ...

Re: Google Android

You plan only charges 1 penny per mb outside of a data plan?! I don't think I've seen any that cheap before.

Re: Not quiet surround sound help

The onkyo would get my vote, I listened to its earlier sibling in SuperFi when considering my own and its a very capable system. Only reason I didn't go for it was the lack of analogue inputs which I needed for my PC. The HDX is also the system I will be going for along with a new TV thats hpefully ...
