What TV series have you watched?

Now we have more daylight and sun I am out on the bike more and consequently watching less tv. Although not a lot is grabbing my attention lately. Getting a bit bored of binge watching stuff to be honest. I have started to watch the new series of House of Cards on Netflix. This is as sharp as ever a...

What have you bought today - VOL 4

My old stem is a 90mm one whereas the new one is a 65mm one. The one in the picture is a 50mm. I consider the 65mm to be pretty long and would have preferred 50mm but they had sold out. A shorter stem is preferable as it sharpens up the steering and pushes your weight rearward a bit. This particular...

Another bike purchase.

Bought an Easton Havoc stem reduced from£79 to £29. Beautiful piece of CNC engineering and an absolute bargain!

Election - Who you voting for and why?

58621 I'm going to be glad when this is over tomorrow! Sometimes i wonder if i should get into politics, then i get back my senses! No idea whats going to happen. I think it will be a hung parliament. But the polls suggest that the Shy Tory is back in force. I agree that I cannot wait until its ove...

Election - Who you voting for and why?

58594 Great.. just did one of those and I'm 74% labour, 74% lib dem, 74% tories. So thats decisive then! http://uk.isidewith.com I just did this and got 77% Lib Dem 75% Labour 68% Green 50% Conservative I tend to waver around the centre ground so not surprised to see the Tories so low. Especially a...

Election - Who you voting for and why?

58571 Did you know that we have to pay 60% tax once we get over the line? And they want to make that more?! Like already charging us 60% apparently isn't enough because we must be rich and own a plane, a boat and an island. So we have to pay more to help the people at the bottom who can't be arsed....

What have you bought today - VOL 4

Bought myself an Easton Havoc Carbon Riser handlebar for the MTB as reduced from £130 down to £60.

Chain Reaction seem to be selling off their stock of Easton components. Top quality stuff.

Edge 520 or Wahoo Elemnt Bolt

It has been hard to get a decent comparison without having a play on it.

I like the Edge 520 but the Wahoo guys seem like they are going all out to make users happy. The one plus in favour of the Edge is that it is colour whereas the Bolt is B&W.

58481 This looks way too expensive. I thought the majority of Chromebooks were in the £200 - £600 price range. How about giving us a new and up to date Surface Pro. $189 to $300 seem well within Chromebook prices, if not cheaper? The SP5? 23 May probably: https://news.microsoft.com/microsoft-event-...

Edge 520 or Wahoo Elemnt Bolt

Well since the majority of my knee troubles are over I have began to get out on my bike again. I still rely on my iPhone 7 and Strava for tracking at the moment and have begun looking at getting something more specific. I have narrowed my choices down to the Garmin Edge 520 or the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt....

I find Siri far more useful for sending texts and short emails. ALexa is better for simple tasks and little else at the moment. In essence its £50 for a combined light switch and clock radio
