What Film have you just watched? 2016+

Watched Bladreunner 2049 last night. The sound was great and matched the original very well. The visuals were good too but the ground level city scenes lacked the feel that the original film had. In fact I preferred this aspect in the original. Overall I enjoyed it but it felt empty and seemed to la...

Dear Blog V XV - the blog strikes back

Dear Blog, It was definitely harder this year John. Mainly because I had a cold which made breathing more difficult and also because the ground was a lot muddier and harder going this time. Saying that I still improved upon last year by 30 minutes. This was despite breaking my chain after 28 miles a...

Nintendo Switch

We have no other console in the front room so it has no competitor there. The XBOne is in our sons room so I never play it. If there is nothing on TV for an our or so we start playing MK8 instead of some rubbish filler TV. Therefore MK8 has been played every day. Played a bit of Rayman which has bee...

I know nothing of this game so had a look and am now wondering if you were being serious or not.

What have you bought today - VOL 4

Picked up a Nintendo Switch and have been playing Mario Kart 8 all afternoon both on my own and with the Mrs.

Love it so far and hope we can pick up a few other decent games too

Sooooo... who has purchased the Switch and what are their thoughts on it

I am considering this just to play MK8 alone but need to know if there is anything else decent on the horizon.

Dear Blog V XV - the blog strikes back

Dear Blog, Well this month I have been spent training for the BHF bike ride which I completed on Saturday 23rd but even larger is that the Saturday before I got married. Also been to Paris for a few days before legging it back to London for the Foo Fighters which was great too. Now planning a weeks ...

What TV series have you watched?

I watched all of Tin Star and mostly enjoyed it despite the unsettling sight of some fat bloke from Coronation Street walking around naked in one episode. I cant believe that some nowheresville town would put up with some of the shiv that goes down. I won't say much more as I wouldn't want to spoil ...

What TV series have you watched?

I watched the first 7 episodes of Narcos 3 over the weekend and still love it. I also watched Strike over the last 2 weekends and really enjoyed this too. Much more enjoyable detective show than the over-egged Sherlock if you ask me.

Gaming Laptop Under £800

I haven't owned a gaming laptop since my Rock XCT now and the most powerful laptop I have is my Core I5 powered Surface Pro 3 which is getting on a bit. Even my desktop is over 6 years old now! I have been thinking about upgrading the desktop as the son plays a bit on this although he spends most of...

My road to hell...Part Deux

Well as some of you may have already seen on the book of faces, I am taking part in the 75 mile London to Brighton Offroad again this year. Although I have added the twist of training my teenage son from a complete beginner and dragging him around with me. All I can tell you is that teenagers have a...

Dear Blog V XV - the blog strikes back

Dear Ras

Conblogulations on the new post. I hope it turns out to be great.

Never understood why people would pay so much more for Nando's over KFC. I don't see either as a premium product. At least the Nando's waiting staff don't appear to be comatose like they are in many KFC's.

What you playing at the minute?

Dear Deirdre,
I have a horrible feeling that I have grown out of gaming!! I haven't played a game in ages and cannot get enthused to start and nothing is particularly inspiring me at the moment either.

Am I getting OLD?!

Game of Thrones thread

I cannot commit to this its a ridiculous amount of time to waste when I could be out on my bike/motorbike.

Rather fed up of overlong American TV shows where the stories get more ridiculous as each series goes on. This is why I wont watch Lost or The Walking Dead either. CBA
