Thanks John - I had pretty much come to this conclusion. From what I can see, you can use the LR app for free but it is limited as to what you can do or you can subscribe to the app. However, I don’t believe that this gives you any access to LR on a PC/Mac. I have no idea how this works the other wa...

57117 Its been a while, but here's my latest review. The 3 Legged Thing Albert tripod! Shot on location in the Barbican conservatory! Well Evil Ras , you will be delighted to know that I purchased a 3LT Corey after watching your review of the Albert. I also liked the ethos of the company which I ha...

Lightroom or Photoshop to start with? I have never used LR and have not really used PS for well over 5 years and even then it was only a bit of a dabble. Also, does anyone know if you can use either of these on an iPad Pro 11" ?

Well after the excitement of completing the London Revolution 300km ride I am now contemplating taking part in the British Heart Foundation 100 mile ride of the South Downs Way. You start at 4.30am and have until 9pm to complete the ride which includes 4000metres of ascent in total. This is almost h...

59517 I had to do without my Garmin smartwatch for a day after Garmin pushed out a faulty update which killed the software on the phone (thankfully they fixed it the next day), I was surprised how much I missed it. It's so handy each time I feel the phone buzz that I can simply check it with a glan...

Well I completed the 300km Dulux London Revolution at the weekend (with 2278m of climbing). What a ride! The first day I got hit by two heavy rain showers about 2 hours apart and also had a 10 minute hail storm in the middle of these. The second day however was glorious and I ended up with a little ...

Well I went with the 35mm in the end as it does pretty much all that I want in a prime and should augment my two kit zoom lenses (16-50mm and 55-210mm) quite nicely. That's enough money spent on lenses for now.
Now its just down to practice and learning how to use it all.

Annoyingly I broke my Apple Watch 3 last year and after several months have got an AW4 as I missed it. Even better is that my health insurance provider pay towards it on a sliding scale if I do a certain amount of exercise during the month. OK I am letting them have some of my information. However, ...

Well here I am 1 month before my 300km London Revolution ride and my training regime has been terrible. Too much stop/start going on. I know I can ride 160km in one go and I know I can comfortably ride 80km at present. I need to ramp up the training a bit and not burn myself out in the process. I am...

Yeah I have come to the same conclusion after reading many different articles online.

Trying to work out what sort of bag I would like as well. I like the idea of a sling type as can be used when riding too. Looks like I need to visit a shop to check out sizes etc first.

What TV series have you watched?

59492 I have just finished watching Sex Education. A brilliant series. Once you get your head around the weird 80’s staging but with modern people, themes and mobile phones etc. The writer has a love of John Hughes 80’s high school films. Well written and very funny. Loved it! What would you say it...

Well Johnmcl7 , I played with it a bit in Barcelona last week but mostly stuck with the Auto settings while I learn the controls. There are way more now than when I had my D70 10+ yrs ago. I have to say I love the size and handling of the camera which seems to fit my hand well. Lots to learn though....

Well I am looking to buy a camera. A long time ago I had a Nikon DSLR, I forget the model now but it was a 6mp model.

I am considering buying a Sony 6000 as I would prefer something a bit smaller and pocketable than a DSLR. Any others that I should be considering?

It has definitely made a difference. Less numbness in feet and fewer problems with hands too. I have decided to ditch the new bike thoughts as well for now too. I went for an 80km ride yesterday and it was great, although i started to feel it in the last couple of km’s. I picked a route that had a f...
