Well I have been doing a bit of match betting and earned myself a couple of grand. Takes a bit of effort but is non-risk unlike mug betting. Decided to use this to buy the brand new Wahoo KICKR V5. The best thing about this trainer is that it auto-calibrates which I love. As I have done very little ...

Why did you choose the rollers over a smart turbo trainer? I bought a Wahoo Kickr Snap which is the 'wheel on' variety. I used it for a while but fed up of having to pump the tyre up to a certain PSI and then riding it for 10 minutes to calibrate it before actually doing a ride. I managed to sell it...

Dear Blog V XV - the blog strikes back
Dear Blog, I too have been lucky this year as I can work 100% from home and haven't been in to the office since mid-March. I actually quite enjoyed the first lockdown as without the 1 hour commute in the morning I was regularly riding 15 - 20 miles and the weather was good to. The absence of traffic...

New Alienware M15 - an ultrabook from Alienware?
I spend most of my time on the Ipad Pro at home. My desktop is so out of date now that I never bother to use it.
I have to say I really miss my old laptop gaming days. I just cannot get into gaming on the Xbox anymore. No games about that grab me and I prefer the mouse/keyboard interface anyway.

Well Imy tak on it so far is
- NO - Note 10 as the standard version has an inferior screen and no microsd
NO - Note10+ - it is just too damn big!
Probable - S10 as it is very close to S10+ but can also get a free Watch (to keep or sell)
Possible - S10+ same as S10 with a few enhancements

OK so I have had the iphone X for 2 years now and am thinking of jumping ship to either an S10 or Note10. Preferably not the + models.
I am a bit out of the loop on Android at the moment. Is there much of a difference between the two on a practical level? DO I gain much by having the stylus etc?

Ahhh crap John. It seems we’re all having some bad cycling luck. At least your issue is known and being sorted now.

I didn’t get to do the ride in the end. Shortly after I wrote the above I injured both knees playing football. Not drastically, but enough so that I could not train for weeks. As time was already short I decided not to proceed this year. Been taking a break from cycling the last few weeks and been b...

What Film have you just watched? 2016+
Went to see Yesterday with my wife last night. A typical Richard Curtis type affair. A happy go lucky film riddled with questions and great music. I have to say I loved it. Acting was very British but generally very good, although Ed Sheeran was a bit awkward. Nice just to relax, let go and not have...

Thanks John - I had pretty much come to this conclusion. From what I can see, you can use the LR app for free but it is limited as to what you can do or you can subscribe to the app. However, I don’t believe that this gives you any access to LR on a PC/Mac. I have no idea how this works the other wa...

57117 Its been a while, but here's my latest review. The 3 Legged Thing Albert tripod! Shot on location in the Barbican conservatory! Well Evil Ras , you will be delighted to know that I purchased a 3LT Corey after watching your review of the Albert. I also liked the ethos of the company which I ha...

Lightroom or Photoshop to start with? I have never used LR and have not really used PS for well over 5 years and even then it was only a bit of a dabble. Also, does anyone know if you can use either of these on an iPad Pro 11" ?

Well after the excitement of completing the London Revolution 300km ride I am now contemplating taking part in the British Heart Foundation 100 mile ride of the South Downs Way. You start at 4.30am and have until 9pm to complete the ride which includes 4000metres of ascent in total. This is almost h...

59517 I had to do without my Garmin smartwatch for a day after Garmin pushed out a faulty update which killed the software on the phone (thankfully they fixed it the next day), I was surprised how much I missed it. It's so handy each time I feel the phone buzz that I can simply check it with a glan...
