What TV series have you watched?

Jessica Jones - Liked it, so much better than Daredevil which seemed to lose itself in the sidekick scenarios.

Dear Blog V XV - the blog strikes back

Dear blog At least one of the channels I watch uses an iPad and is perfectly acceptable HD content. YouTube will compress the crap out of anything you shoot so a decent camera isn't the key to quality. I would say sound is going to be your biggest problem regards a quality product. I seem to remembe...

What TV series have you watched?

It is one of the best series I have seen for a long time. Pretty much everything from the BBC I am interested in seems to written to a formula now, which I find aggravating. ITV is for 'double figure IQ viewing'. 5 seems to be getting it's act together again with the revived X-Files, need to see the...

What TV series have you watched?

Mr.Robot - I concur, bloody excellent and well put together. However.....

Spoiler:
It seemed rather obvious after the second episode that there was a 'fight Club scenario' going on regards mental breakdown. Still very well done though.

Samsung Galaxy S7 announcement

The beauty of Android. I always use the google launcher even though I am tempted by some of the other options like Go. I have disabled the samsung apps on my Tab, but some are still showing on the apps screen and you can't use the full office suite without the samsung apps thing enabled. At least th...

What Film have you just watched?

Gravity. Can't see what all the fuss is about.

Yes, Sandra Bullock was good. Yes, the cinematography and effects were great. Ignoring basic newtonian physics though, bugged me too much for me to enjoy it.

Samsung Galaxy S7 announcement

The Nexus 5 does a similar thing to whitepages, shows who is calling if you don't have the number but it's public.

The S7 sounds excellent, except for the samsung bloatware. I can just about live with it on the S2 tablet but it would drive me nuts on a phone.

What have you bought today - VOL 4

Dyson V6 Fluffy. Fed up with lugging the big casuast up and down stairs and ground floor is now all flat floor, no carpets, so made sense. Freakishly expensive though.

What Film have you just watched?

56151 I watched John Wick which is a film about Theon Greyjoy killing Keanu Reeves' puppy, turns out Keanu Reeves is a retired uber assassin and none too happy about his dead puppy (can sympathise there) so goes on the rampage to get revenge. A lot of the film is distinctly average and fairly slow ...

Dear Blog V XV - the blog strikes back

Dear Blog

Love the colour John. Between that and the raised chainstay it's very reminiscent of the early 90's MTB. Intrigued to see how it rides and you lucky bugger getting a 'new' bike for a used price!

For more professional uses - Medscape is a great reference app for medical stuff, although US so not always accurate or relevant for UK legislation. Essential Anatomy 3 - Ok, not startlingly accurate but a good representation for educational demonstration or 'what the hell is that bit called?' momen...

Google Android Apps

Gmail for email. Tube Map (MX Data) for tube map and routes. London Tube Status for tube times (actual, shows where next rains are and estimated times). Keep - good for lists and notes, yes you can put reminders on them. I keep a list for shopping, when I notice I need something I un-tick it. aCalen...
