Re: Odd colours with new Nvidia driver

A small update; Ive tried using older drivers but the same issue occurs. I took out one of my GPU's and the issue went away. I put it back in and the issue returned. I then used the other card on it own and the issue went away. So each card works fine on its own but when i use them both i get this w...

Odd colours with new Nvidia driver

Hi all. Need some advice. Ive just reinstalled my Nvidia drivers to the newest 191.07 drivers. When i rebooted every colour on my screen looks odd, very bright, like ive set the contrast ratio very high and saturated. This happens about 5 seconds after my desktop appears. Before that 5 seconds the c...

Re: Ram options and performance

AAhhhh. I was looking at the GTX295 cards. Some of them are listed as single PCB while one was a dual PCB. Overclockers have their own brand dual PCB GTX295 for 60 quid less than the competition. But all the major brands have single PCB's.

Re: Ram options and performance

Thanks for the reply.

The laptop i was looking at (g870 kobalt) has the option of 2 HD's. I was thinking of having a small SSD and then a 500GB drive as the secondary. Would the only difference be faster load times off the SSD?

Ram options and performance

Hi gents Im considering upgrading my laptop soon and ive been looking over the spec options available at the moment. Ive noticed the 4Gb RAM sticks are pretty pricey in comparrison to the 2Gb sticks. Is it worth paying £200+ for 6GB instead of 4Gb? This would be on a gaming laptop with a new i7 and ...

Re: Next gen mobile GPU's?

Im also quite curious about the new i7 CPU's. The new kobalt looks really nice i think. It is chunky but i havnt seen a powerful gaming notebook that isnt. Ive got a Nexus which weighs the same as the new model and that doesnt seem chunky to me. Its a pain carrying it around though but luckily it si...
