What you playing at the minute?

EviL Ras wrote:Qr Bbpost Just finished wolfenstein 2! Twas fun!

Finally got this finished, great story, excellent cutscenes, ok gameplay, overall very fun. Glad to have got one of the 40 odd games on my pile of shame finished.

Currently working on Nier: Automata, finished the first of 3 play throughs.

What you playing at the minute?

59149 Just finished wolfenstein 2! Twas fun! Still working my way through this, very enjoyable but it's a bit of a weird one as the cut scenes are much better than the actual game play. I find myself pushing through the levels to get to the next cut scene, the one at the end of New Orleans being a ...

What games are you looking forward to?

I''m on the fence with Monster Hunter World, I played a reasonable amount of 4 on the 3DS and really enjoyed it and I'm reasonably exited for World but I don't know if I have the time and energy to put into getting good at a very technical action game right now. I also decided I'm not buying any gam...

What you playing at the minute?

Picked up the new Assassins Creed just after Christmas, its pretty much fine it's better than the last few but ultimately it's still more Assassins Creed. Looks pretty impressive in 4K HDR. I've got several games from last year that really need finishing, as well as a couple from Christmas, but I ju...

What have you bought today - VOL 4

Assuming that just before Christmas still counts as “today” I recently bought a 55” LG OLED C7 TV. It’s rather lovely, still fiddling with some settings but pretty much set up now.

What have you bought today - VOL 4

59063 Just got the Dyson AM09 hot and cool fan for £229 on the Dyson website. looking at the camelcamelcamel website its the cheapest its ever been. Same, only thing I got this Black Friday, not massively keen on giving that Brexit prick money but it's the best price for something I've wanted since...

Nintendo Switch

Blimey that's a good price for FIFA. Mario Odyssey is ok, I've not hit the credits yet which supposedly completely changes the game and it's so much better post credits so maybe I'll revise my opinion later but currently a good 7/10. It's a little soulless, the controls are awkward in places on both...

What TV series have you watched?

Robot Wars I thought that Sabertooth were particularly hard done by in the first round, they were still a functional robot at the end just caught on some bent material where as Behemoth were properly immobilised from Sabertooth's attack. I suppose its nice that the Behemoth lad finally gets to p...

58855 Sooooo... who has purchased the Switch and what are their thoughts on it I am considering this just to play MK8 alone but need to know if there is anything else decent on the horizon. The Switch is pretty good, there are quite a few decent games for it, but I rarely use it. From my experience...

Dear Blog Congrats on the house, jobs and tech! What TV series have you watched?

Just finished off Twin Peak: The Return................ I'm pretty sure it was good, almost certain. But I had no idea what the hell was going on for parts of it, or why some of it existed. The "Gotta Light" episode was possibly the weirdest hour of TV I have ever seen, but at the same tim...

What you playing at the minute?

Tried Agents of Mayhem as I am a massive fan of the Saints Row games, it's just kind of bad. Now SR 2 was also kind of bad but it had a charm so it was forgivable, AoM just feels like the most design by comity game I've played for a while. As I said a while ago I've been bouncing off all the games r...

What you playing at the minute?

I was going to say I don't think it's an age thing, but maybe it is, maybe that's why despite buying and playing quite a lot I've not had the same enjoyment as I used to from it. There are games that, from experience, I should love that have left me bored. Looking back I think it started around the ...

Game of Thrones thread

That's one of the good things about Game of Thrones, or at least it is if you keep up, its only 10 episodes a series rather than 20 something, and I think this series is only 8 and the final 6 or 7? so not a huge time commitment.
